NTWRK is a mobile shopping platform that seamlessly blends entertainment, culture, and commerce through exclusive product drops, live streams, and interactive auction experiences.
The problem:
The current design of the app doesn't align with NTWRK's strategy of positioning itself as a curated shopping destination featuring high-quality shows and products. Despite hosting numerous high-profile drops, such as Aliea May, Upscale Vandal, and Billie Eilish, the existing app design fails to effectively showcase the uniqueness of these moments.
Solution:
Reimagined the NTWRK app interface for enhanced user experience and platform offerings. Introduced personalized Watch Tab, curated Discover Tab, and Shop Tab for browsing convenience. These updates improve the app's functionality, navigation, and engagement.
Design Process:
The design process starts with research to understand user needs and project goals, followed by ideation to generate concepts. These concepts are translated into wireframes and prototypes for testing and validation.
During user testing of the existing app, we found new users had difficulty understanding the app's full range and navigating through the numerous show feeds, making onboarding and finding interesting shows challenging.
We also created an internal Content Management System (CMS) to streamline the process of adding products for our team.
Guides were created to help the creative team understand how to properly set up banner images.
Outcome:
This improvement allows our teams to customize the Discover tab, highlighting key moments and products. It also provides a landing page for new users to explore our products and keeps existing users informed about our latest promotions.
User feedback was highly positive, appreciating the intuitive interface and easy navigation. This reaffirms the success of our user-centric design and the product's effectiveness in satisfying user needs.
